LaDainian grew up in tiny Rosebud, Texas. It was his basketball and baseball. As a senior he collected more than 2,554 yards and 39 touchdowns for the Trojans. LT signed with Texas Christian University, where he twice led the NCAA in rushing yards. He was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy his senior season.

After an incredible career at TCU, LT was drafted fifth overall by the record books ever since he put on a Chargers uniform. He holds the all-time record for touchdowns in a single season with 31 in the 2006 season.
