Transport defeated villains from the TV into your living room. Yup, you read that right. The new twist to Skylanders is a fun one. Defeat villains in the game and you'll have the ability to suck them into a crystal shard you have placed in your Skylanders portal. Built in speakers on the portal will allow you to hear your trapped villain struggle and make a fuss. After a short while in the crystal shard, your captive enemy turns into a good guy and you can then release them back into the game where they fight on your side.

All your current collected Skylanders figures will work with Skylanders Trap Team but you'll need a new portal named the Traptanium Portal. The portals that came with Skylanders: Spyro Adventures are not compatible.
