This is a good question because Lacrosse is the one sport where a defender is actually allowed to hit you with his stick. Thatās a prescription for purpleā¦ unless you have the right gear!

B-Ball Shoes
Letās start with your running shoes. Most shoe stores donāt carry shoes for lacrosse. If you canāt find lacrosse shoes, I would go with basketball shoes. When youāre running in a Lacrosse game, itās actually very similar to how basketball players run. Thereās lots of pivoting, stop and go. Ankle is key!

- Helmet (certified for lacrosse organization)

- Mouth Guard (helps prevent concussions)
Lacrosse players donāt wear any leg padding for some reason. I guess it restricts mobility and speed. If it were me, I would probably wear a couple of tensor bandages on my knees just to prevent all the rug burns.
